Graffiti at Lakenheath was just another form of communications; an outlet to express emotions, feelings, or the excitement of impending events.
Some of us got carried away and expressed our love for others with spray paint on a brick wall. (Hard to clean with a tooth brush, just ask Mike.

Then there was the usual sentiment on the bathroom walls. Rumor has it the ladies bathroom graffiti was not as tame as one would suspect. Woe be unto the guy who jilted a Lancer girl armed with a marker..!!

Who could ever forget the surprise notes one might find emblazoned on his or her locker? Sometimes persons unknown left these bits of wit for you. Sometimes the postings were by your best friend.

Can you imagine what our busses would have looked like if bumper stickers were prevalent back then?

Some of the best Lakenheath Graffiti you will find is right in your Yearbook.....
